How Seaweed can Improve your Running

In a new Korean study showed that people who downed a drink containing 72mg of the seaweed extract – Ecklonia Cava, 30 minutes before exercising ran 30% longer than runners who hadn’t.

“The supplement is an antioxidant that may enhance endurance by increasing blood flow and reducing lactic acid build-up” –  the scientist said.

Ecklonia Cava may improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and protect against obesity and heart disease — though most of the research was conducted in animals or test tubes. Thus, further human studies are needed.
