Someone asked me “What is the meaning of your mermaid tattoo?” After I said that all my tattoos have meaning.
HERE GOES
This tattoo has two parts – the mother holding a child and the mermaid.
When a child is born the most important part is handing the child back to the mother to seal their everlasting bond,
my bond with my mother and grandmother is truly unbreakable.
The legend of the mermaid says that they used their beauty and song to lure sailors towards them and once in their clutches they never let go. I’m a sailor by trade and my love for the ocean and travel is unlimited.
I chose my own real life mermaid, the wife person, to have that bond with our boys because wherever she is that’s my home port and no matter how far I travel I will always come back to her…them
All tattoos should have meaning, this way you will never regret putting something permanent on your body.
